honda hr v 2023 australia Page 2

The 2023 Honda HR‑V in Australia is a tidy little SUV that whispers instead of shouts, then quietly gets on with being useful. Line-up highlights are a 1.5L petrol (FWD, CVT) in the Vi X and a 1.5L e:HEV hybrid (FWD, e‑CVT) in the L, with real-world economy roughly 6–7 L/100km for petrol and about 5 L/100km for the hybrid. It’s a 4-seater locally, which sounds odd until you notice the clever Magic Seats and decent safety kit. The cabin feels grown-up, the ride is unflustered, and the hybrid’s punch around town is pleasantly smug. Expect pricing to sit roughly mid‑$30ks for the petrol and high‑$40ks for the hybrid, plus on‑roads—Honda’s fixed-price model keeps the haggle headaches away. Consult official documentation for exact figures.
