how fast can l platers go in qld Page 215

In Queensland, L‑platers can drive up to the posted speed limit—yes, even 110 km/h where it’s signed—no special learner cap spoiling the fun.

You’ll need an open‑licence supervisor in the passenger seat, L‑plates front and back, and a zero BAC, obviously.

Use your head: the limit isn’t a target when it’s bucketing down or traffic’s doing the hokey pokey.

Rules can change, so give Queensland’s Department of Transport and Main Roads a quick look before you go hero on the motorway.
