how long does it take a dealership to find financing Page 184

Generally, a dealership can find financing in anywhere from a quick 30 minutes to a sluggish 48 hours, depending on your credit profile and the lender's responsiveness. If you’re blessed with a pristine credit score, expect the process to feel like a coffee break. However, if your credit history resembles a soap opera, brace for more paperwork and phone calls. Dealers often work with multiple lenders to speed things up, but no one’s winning awards for swiftness here. For used and new car loans in Australia, interest rates and terms vary widely, so don't just settle for the first offer. Consulting sites like ServiceCentral or CarShowroom might give you a head start on what to expect. Remember, patience is a virtue, but so is shopping around.
