how long is p2 licence victoria Page 213

In Victoria, a P2 (green P) licence runs for 3 years—long enough to learn patience at roadworks and master the indicator.

If you’re under 21, it follows a 1‑year P1 stint; if you’re 21 or older, you usually skip straight to P2 for the same 3‑year stretch.

Any suspensions, demerit detours, or interlock conditions can extend the party, so clean driving keeps the calendar tidy.

When it’s done, you graduate to a full licence—no confetti, just fewer rules and usually a nicer insurance bill.
