In Queensland, P2 provisional licence holders get a maximum of 7 demerit points within a 3-year period before facing suspension. This is a bit more lenient than the full licence limit of 12 points, but don't let that fool you into thinking you can drive like a maniac. Accumulating 7 points means your licence will be suspended, usually for 3 months. Keep your nose clean, or those points will pile up faster than your regret.
