You can’t truly make a Facebook Page private — Pages are built to be public; if you want seclusion, use a Group instead.
To hide it from the world, go to Settings and unpublish the Page (Page Visibility → Unpublish) so it disappears while you sort things out.
You can also add country/age restrictions, turn off search engine indexing, and lock down who can post, tag or review the Page.
Individual posts on Pages don’t get an “Only Me” option, so keep drafts in your pocket or schedule nothing at all.
If you just want fewer tyre‑kickers, trim Page roles, archive old content, and disable messaging so the inbox isn’t a full-time job.
