how to pass your ps test qld Page 5

Want to pass your QLD P’s test? Drive like the examiner’s mug of tea is perched on the dash and you’re terrified of a spill.

Keep it smooth: steady speed, full stops at “STOP”, calm braking, and religious mirror–signal–shoulder checks, especially when leaving the kerb, changing lanes, and at roundabouts.

Stick to posted limits (watch those 40 km/h school zones), scan well ahead, and give way like you actually read the diagram.

Nail the manoeuvres—reverse park, three-point turn, and hill start—without panic-revving like a lawn mower on Boxing Day.

Stay calm if you fluff something minor, follow directions precisely, and show good hazard awareness; confidence is fine, overconfidence is how tests end.
