how to sell a car in canberra Page 2

Price it using recent Canberra comps, then give it a proper wash so buyers don’t have to imagine the colour under the dust.

Collect the service history, two keys, and a PPSR report to reassure buyers it’s not secretly three cars welded together.

List it with clear photos and a blunt-but-fair description on places like Tradingpost; meet in a public spot and sight a licence for test drives.

Take secure payment (instant bank transfer or bank cheque), write a receipt, remove e‑tags, and lodge the transfer with Access Canberra—check their site for any current inspection or paperwork requirements.

If negotiating gets spicy, smile, stick to your bottom line, and remember you’re selling a car, not adopting out a koala.
