hyundai i30 headlights not working Page 6

Hyundai i30 headlights gone on strike? Don’t panic—this is usually something simple rather than a ghost in the BCM.

• Blown bulbs or a headlight fuse/relay in the engine-bay box
• Dodgy earth/ground near the headlamp or corrosion in the connector
• Failed stalk switch or a wiring break at the headlight loom
• For DRLs: cooked LED module or low system voltage from a tired battery/alternator

Start with the basics: swap bulbs side to side, check fuses/relays, clean grounds, then scan for fault codes before blaming the body control module.

If you’re not handy with a multimeter, an auto sparky will sort it faster than you can say “I swear it worked yesterday.”
