Rapidstick 8577 Anaerobic Thread Sealant offers immediate low pressure resistance for all metal threads on pipes, joints, and fittings, locking and sealing to resist loosening and leakage during testing, and after cure. It has WRAS approval for Potable Water, and protects against corrosion, shock and vibration. 8577 will not creep, shrink, gall, migrate, or block systems.
Rapidstick 8577 is an anaerobic sealant suitable for use on stainless steel threads without the need for surface activation. It is ideal for sealing against gases, water, LPG, hydrocarbons, oils, and other chemicals, and its excellent thixotropic property prevents migration of the sealant before or during curing.

Note: It is recommended to prime inactive metals first with Rapidstick 8-3471 Anaerobic Adhesives Primer.
