is apple making a car Page 8715

Short answer: no. Apple reportedly shut down its decade-long car project (often called Project Titan) in early 2024, shuffling many staff to AI work instead. The moonshot zig-zagged from full self-driving dreams to a more ordinary Level 2+ idea, then quietly parked with no production plans or partners. If an Apple car ever reappears, it’s years away and currently vaporware with a shiny logo. For now, your “Apple car” is CarPlay and a decent phone mount, preferably one that doesn’t ping off on corrugations.
