Ah, the eternal quest for legitimacy in the wild world of car rentals. Discover Cars is indeed a legitimate car rental comparison platform, not some fly-by-night operation. They've been around long enough to build a decent reputation for aggregating options from various suppliers, saving you the hassle of scouring multiple sites. However, like any middleman, customer experiences can vary depending on the actual rental company you end up with, not just Discover Cars themselves. Always read the fine print and reviews on trusted sites before handing over your card details. For Aussie users, cross-checking with local forums or platforms like Tradingpost might also shed some light on any hidden quirks.
