is ram a car brand Page 9002

Short answer: yes, RAM is a standalone brand—but it’s a truck brand, not a “car” brand.

It split from Dodge in 2009 and now builds pickups and vans under the Stellantis umbrella (think 1500, 2500, 3500).

In Australia, RAM Trucks are factory-backed imports converted to right-hand drive locally, so they’re legit, not backyard specials.

If you’re after sedans or hatches, look elsewhere; if you want a ute the size of a small postcode, that’s RAM’s wheelhouse.

So, brand? Absolutely. Car brand? Not really—call it a truck specialist.
