Short answer: no, the Toyota Venza isn’t coming to Australia, and Toyota hasn’t announced any plans to change that.
It’s a North American, hybrid-only SUV (essentially a Toyota Harrier) that sits between the RAV4 and Kluger, a gap our market already covers with RAV4 Hybrid, Corolla Cross and Kluger Hybrid—so bringing it here would be like importing sand to the beach. If you’re desperate, a grey import is possible, but you’ll face ADR compliance, insurance, parts and resale headaches big enough to make a mechanic weep. Expect Toyota to keep serving the same pie: RAV4 Hybrid waitlists, a bigger Kluger, and not a Venza in sight. If that changes, Toyota Australia will make a song and dance about it; until then, it’s “not on the menu.”
