italian power plug Page 41

Ah, the infamous Italian power plug — a delightful little enigma wrapped in a mystery of three round pins. Officially known as Type L, this plug comes in two flavors: 10A and 16A, both sporting a 4 mm diameter pin but differing in pin spacing. The 10A version has pins spaced 5.5 mm apart, while the 16A stretches them out to 8 mm. Voltage? A standard 230V at 50Hz, just like the rest of Europe, so no surprises there.

If you’re planning to bring your Aussie gadgets, prepare for an adapter dance, and maybe a converter if your gear isn’t multi-voltage. For buying adapters or plugs, sites like Tradingpost or CarShowroom might have what you need. Always consult official electrical standards before playing electrician.
