jeep airbag recall

Yes, the Jeep airbag recall is a big deal—exploding inflators are not the kind of surprise you want in your face.

Many older models were swept up in the global Takata saga, and repairs in Australia are free.

Check your VIN with Jeep Australia or the ACCC Product Safety site, then book a dealer—no dithering.

If parts are delayed, ask for a loaner or interim measures; safety trumps inconvenience.

After the fix, make sure the work is recorded against your VIN and keep the paperwork.

It’s five dull admin minutes that might save your day.
