jeep grand cherokee 2023 review

The 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee is bigger, plusher and finally feels like the suit fits, but it hasn’t forgotten its hiking boots.

Australia gets the familiar 3.6‑litre petrol V6 with an 8‑speed auto—smooth enough, but don’t expect diesel-like thrift.

Off-road hardware is proper Jeep: multiple 4x4 systems, low range on the right variants, and air suspension up the tree for extra clearance.

On-road it cruises quietly and rides well, though the steering prefers relaxed Sunday drives to hairpins.

The cabin’s a tech lounge (Uconnect 5, crisp screens, decent driver aids) and the boot is enormous; the L version adds a usable third row.

Prices are premium and fuel bills can be too, but as a comfy tourer that can actually bush-bash, it’s more substance than swagger.
