jeep review australia Page 15

In Australia, Jeep is that mate who insists on taking the scenic dirt track—mostly because it can. Wrangler and Gladiator bring serious off-road chops, live axles and all, but they’ll thrum on the highway and sip fuel like it’s happy hour. The Grand Cherokee is the comfy one—quiet, plush, and properly capable—though options can make the price climb like a billy goat. Compass is tidy around town, more school run than Simpson Desert, but not without charm. Reliability reputation? Improving, but the internet never forgets; at least there’s a 5-year warranty and capped-price servicing. If you crave character and capability, they’re compelling; if you want whisper-quiet commuting and bargain servicing, keep shopping.
