Ah, Jim Moffat's land speed record exploits—definitely a niche in the annals of Aussie speed chasers. While Jim Moffat isn't exactly a household name in the realm of blistering land speed records, he's known more for his touring car exploits down under rather than setting outright speed records. If you're hunting for the fastest lap times or outright velocity in the desert, you might want to look elsewhere, perhaps at the more flamboyant record holders with jet-powered contraptions. For any genuine land speed record data, Tradingpost and CarShowroom won't help much, but a deep dive into motorsport archives might. Keep your eyes peeled and your expectations realistic!
