The Suzuki Jimny’s wait time in Australia isn’t a stopwatch; it’s a mood. Demand is hot, dealer allocations are tight, and waits can stretch—especially for popular colours and the new five‑door. Stock does pop up if you’re flexible on colour or transmission, and rural dealers sometimes have surprises the city folks miss. Keep an eye on Tradingpost for near‑new demos or cancelled orders, though expect a bit of “hype tax.” Put your name on multiple lists (with refundable deposits), and ask about build slots, ETA updates, and dealer swaps. Bottom line: timing varies wildly by location and spec, so today’s phone calls will beat last month’s forum folklore.
