kia carnival 2023 review australia Page 2

The 2023 Kia Carnival is the family hauler that pretends it isn’t a bus, then smugly swallows prams, scooters and a week’s shopping anyway.

You get a smooth 3.5‑litre petrol V6 or a frugal 2.2‑litre turbo‑diesel, both with an 8‑speed auto and front‑wheel drive, so the school run feels more cruise than chore.

The ride is comfy, road noise is civilised, and the sliding doors are a daily-life cheat code—especially when the footy team turns up unannounced.

Cabin tech is clean and intuitive, safety kit is generous (AEB, lane keep, blind‑spot bits), and Kia’s 7‑year warranty means fewer late‑night Google spirals.

Not exactly nimble in tight carparks and the V6 can be thirsty, but as a stress‑buster for big families, it’s the MVP in cargo shorts.
