Waiting on a new Kia in Australia? Your selling dealer is the keeper of the sacred scrolls: order status, build slot, and ETA, so get your order number and (when assigned) the VIN.
They can see status changes (allocation, built, shipped, landed) and give you updated windows when ships and port schedules shuffle.
Kia Customer Care can also confirm the same dealer-entered info if you quote your details, handy when your salesperson’s gone fishing.
Delays happen—semiconductors, ship space, quarantine—so expect the ETA to wobble rather than stand to attention.
Once a VIN is on a boat, your dealer usually gets a narrower landing window, and you’ll get a delivery date only after the car clears the yard and passes pre-delivery.
Listing your ad only takes a few minutes, and most categories are free.
