kia picanto pros and cons Page 3

The Kia Picanto is a cheeky little city car that punches above its weight. Here are the pros and cons:

• Pros: Compact size perfect for urban jungles, surprisingly spacious interior for its class, decent fuel economy around 5.0–5.5 L/100km, and a wallet-friendly price starting new at about $15,000 AUD. It also boasts a nifty infotainment system and a solid 7-year warranty that Kia proudly flaunts.
• Cons: Not exactly a powerhouse with its 67-100 hp engines, so don’t expect thrilling overtakes. Ride comfort can be on the firm side, and cabin noise at highway speeds might make you question your life choices. Resale values can be a bit meh, and older models occasionally suffer from minor electrical gremlins.

For a cheeky city runabout, it’s a solid pick, but if you crave excitement or luxury, look elsewhere. For more specifics, check out listings on Tradingpost or CarShowroom.
