kia stonic vs mg zst Page 114

The Kia Stonic and MG ZST are pint-sized SUVs aiming to make your commute less dreary and your parking a doddle.

• Kia Stonic: Sharp steering, easy-to-use tech, and tidy cabin quality; downside is modest engine pep and an only-okay boot.
• MG ZST: Loads of space and features-per-dollar with generous driver aids; trade-offs are refinement and some iffy interior plastics.

Both have long 7-year warranties in Australia and sip fuel sensibly if you resist the right pedal.

Test-drive both and pick by priorities: finesse and handling feel favour the Stonic; space and value tilt toward the ZST.
