There is no point in sugar coating anything, to tell you a little about myself I will start first by asking three questions and the correct answers will follow:-

Q. Am I scrumptious and do you wish to squeeze me every time you look at me?
A. Is of course YES

Q. Do I want you to squeeze me and touch me?
A. NO

Q. How do we get around this you ask?
A. I come with a boyfriend named Benji who facilitates all such touch and patting sessions of me and only then may you pat me...If I feel like it.

To elaborate and make this even easier to wrap your head around. I have come from a bit of a rough background. I haven't been handled well in the past and this has caused me some trauma. PTSD, even. Thus, I get incredibly nervous of touch of any kind. This has made things quite difficult not only for all the wonderful staff and volunteers at who have put so much effort into helping me. But also for me. Because even though I may not seem like it, I am actually quite fond of being around people and am confident once I know my way around a home environment to be found flopped quite close by to my humans.

However once I met Benji in my foster home (Hearts are now floating and filling the air around you) Love was in the air.
Benji has been my therapy, he has allowed me to feel safe when he is close by and actually allowed me to be patted and touched by my foster parents. Even though I am still in denial and pretend that I am not really bonding with human touch because I still have a long way to go with my Benji therapy, it has really been a huge break through for me.

So, this means Benji and I will need a VERY PATIENT person/persons. I can not stress VERY PATIENT enough. Who will attempt in any way possible to create a FEAR FREE environment for us both. Including times when we need to see a vet...This is crucial! I personally, will need continued support and sessions with you to help build trust and to continue to be the best version of me I can be. You will need to really take on board all of the recommendations and advice by our expert behaviour team at and I know it sounds totally serious, but you really need to be serious about adopting us. And it's not just coz we are now the new celebrity couple within the organization.

Aside from all the difficult stuff, I am actually very chatty and I do love playing, especially if you have one of those cat wands or fluffy ended sticks etc. I am also the best leaf killer if any of those end up in the house accidentally.
