The Lagotto Romagnolo is a charming Italian water dog famous for its truffle-hunting skills. It sports a dense, curly coat that’s hypoallergenic—great news if you hate sneezing but love dogs. Typically weighing around 11-16 kg and standing 41-48 cm tall, it’s a medium-sized pooch with a keen nose and a bubbly personality. Expect a high-energy companion who needs plenty of mental and physical stimulation; perfect if you fancy daily walks but less so if you prefer couch potatoes. Prices in Australia for a pup hover around $3,000 to $4,500 AUD, while used dogs can vary widely depending on pedigree and training.
