Short and scenic: Moran’s Falls return or the O’Reilly’s Tree Top Walk; waterfall chasers go for Elabana Falls via Picnic Rock or the Box Forest Circuit (about 11 km).

Craving a full-day epic? Try the Coomera Circuit or Toolona Creek Circuit (both roughly 17 km)—all vines, creeks and more ferns than a garden centre.

Tracks are well signed but slick after rain; leeches adore optimists, so bring spray, gaiters and a sense of humour.
