ldv van review 2023 Page 202

The 2023 LDV van range is the budget-friendly tradie lunchbox: big on space, light on ego, and surprisingly civil to drive.

Deliver 9 feels cavernous and configurable, while the smaller G10 is city-friendly; both prioritise payload and practicality over posh trimmings.

Engines are honest rather than heroic, and refinement trails the pricier Europeans when you’re hustling, but the value equation is hard to ignore.

Safety and tech have improved (AEB, camera, smartphone mirroring on many specs), yet kit levels vary, so check the exact variant.

Dealer network and resale aren’t class-leading, but if you’re counting dollars and cubic metres, LDV’s maths often stacks up.

If you want silk-lined cabins and hushed Autobahn manners, look elsewhere; if you want a big box that does the job without raiding the petty cash, this will do nicely.
