ldv vs ssangyong Page 3

LDV vs SsangYong is the value-for-money showdown where badges matter less than what you get for the bucks.

• LDV – Pros: Sharp pricing, generous features for the coin, and a broad spread of utes and vans to suit tradies and families alike.
• LDV – Cons: Ride and refinement can feel a step behind the class leaders, resale is still finding its feet, and the dealer network isn’t everywhere.
• SsangYong – Pros: Strong value with long warranty support in Australia, tidy towing credentials, and tough ladder-frame hardware in Musso and Rexton.
• SsangYong – Cons: Infotainment and cabin polish can be hit-and-miss, parts and dealers are fewer than the big brands, and ride quality varies by spec.

Test-drive both on the same roads, check local dealer support, and let your backside and budget make the call.
