Ferrari won the 2023 24 Hours of Le Mans—yes, on its top-class comeback—thanks to the 499P No. 51 driven by Pier Guidi, Calado and Giovinazzi. They outlasted Toyota after a sleepless, safety-car-sprinkled scrap, with the Prancing Horse looking properly wide awake at dawn. It’s Ferrari’s first overall Le Mans victory since 1965, and they picked the centenary running to do it—bit of theatre, that. In short: endurance racing returned to being red, loud and gloriously dramatic, and Toyota will be plotting payback already.
