Chasing a learner’s licence in Queensland? Be at least 16, pass the road rules test, and wear those big L plates with pride (front and rear of the car).
You must drive with a supervisor on an open licence in the front passenger seat, keep a 0.00 BAC, and log your supervised hours—including night drives—in an approved logbook.
Once your logbook’s approved and you’ve met the minimum time requirements, you can book the practical test and graduate to those shiny P-plates.
For the fine print and any rule changes, check the Queensland Government’s official guidance before you hit the road.
