learner's permit perth Page 9

Chasing a learner’s permit in Perth? In WA you apply through the Department of Transport, prove your ID, pass an eyesight check, and knock over the road rules theory test to get your Ls.

Once the card lands, slap on the big yellow L plates, drive only with a fully licensed supervisor, and log your practice hours as required in WA.

When eligible, you’ll tackle the Hazard Perception Test and then book the Practical Driving Assessment; ace both and you’re on the home straight to a provisional licence.

Rules, fees, and minimum ages can change, so check the WA Department of Transport for exact requirements before you rev off to the test centre.
