The LEGO Land Rover Defender set is a delightful homage to the iconic 4x4, capturing its rugged charm in brick form. It features around 2,573 pieces and a scale that allows for intricate details like a working steering wheel and suspension—brilliant for both kids and nostalgic adults. In Australia, expect to pay roughly AUD 250-350 new depending on stock levels, with used sets potentially found cheaper on Tradingpost or CarShowroom. It's not just a toy but a collector's piece that can double as a desk ornament, provided you don't mind the risk of stepping on a brick (painful!). For full specs and building instructions, consult the official LEGO documentation.
