Ah, the "little Mercedes car"—a phrase as vague as a foggy morning in Melbourne. If you're referring to compact Mercedes-Benz models, you're probably thinking of the A-Class or the CLA. The A-Class boasts a 1.3 to 2.0-litre turbocharged engine range, with prices starting around $45,000 AUD new, while used models can be found from $25,000 AUD depending on age and condition. The CLA, a sleek coupe-style sedan, offers similar engine options but with a sportier flair and slightly higher price tags.

Both pack the usual Mercedes luxury and tech, but beware: maintenance costs can bite, and some owners report niggling infotainment glitches. For a thorough poke around, check out listings on Tradingpost or CarShowroom. Always consult official Mercedes documentation to ensure you're not buying a unicorn.
