The Mastiff is a colossal canine, often tipping the scales at a hefty 54 to 100 kg, depending on the specific breed variant. Known for their gentle giant reputation, these dogs sport a short, dense coat and a massive, muscular build that screams 'I might just sit on you by accident.' Expect them to live around 6 to 10 years, which, given their size, is about par for the course.
They require ample space, patience, and yes, a wallet prepared for their nutritious appetite. Training is a must unless you fancy a 70kg slobbering couch potato with selective hearing. For more on adopting or buying, check PuppyList or Tradingpost.
