mazda cx3 reviews 2023 Page 5

The 2023 Mazda CX-3 is the pint-sized SUV that thinks it’s a hot hatch, with sharp steering and a chassis that begs you to detour the long way home. Its 2.0‑litre petrol makes a healthy 110 kW/195 Nm through a 6‑speed auto, mostly FWD with AWD on select variants, sipping roughly mid‑6s L/100 km on the official cycle. The cabin feels more boutique than budget, but the 7‑inch infotainment and menu fiddling feel a bit last decade (Apple CarPlay—often wireless—and Android Auto do redeem it). Practicality is the catch: a tight rear seat and a boot around 264 L mean pack light and argue later. Safety kit is solid for the class with AEB and available blind‑spot/rear cross‑traffic alert, though the platform’s age peeks through. If you want space, shop bigger; if you want city agility with a whiff of driver’s car, this is your cheeky little enabler.
