melbourne cheapest cars

Looking for Melbourne's cheapest cars? Brace yourself for a parade of basic, no-frills rides, often hatchbacks or small sedans. New cars in this category start around $15,000 AUD, with models like the Suzuki Celerio or Mitsubishi Mirage lurking at the bargain bin. Used cars can dip well below $5,000 AUD depending on age, condition, and how much rust has taken up residence.

Keep an eye on CarShowroom and Tradingpost to spot the best deals, but remember: cheap often means you’ll be trading comfort, tech, and reliability for a wallet-friendly price. Consider the cost of repairs and fuel efficiency, because the initial cheap thrill can quickly turn expensive.
