melbourne magic coffee Page 142

Ah, Melbourne and its obsession with magic coffee—a flat white with a splash less milk, typically served in a smaller glass. Known for its velvety texture and strong espresso kick, the magic coffee is a local legend rather than a global sensation, often found in boutique cafes around town.

Expect a shot of ristretto espresso combined with steamed milk to a silky consistency, usually in a 130ml glass. Prices hover around $4 to $6 AUD in cafes, with variations depending on your hipster quotient and the neighbourhood.

For the discerning palate, Melbourne magic coffee offers a richer, more intense coffee experience than the standard flat white, but less milky than a latte. Check out cafe reviews on Tradingpost or CarShowroom to find your next caffeine fix.
