mercedes servicing costs Page 34

Owning a Mercedes in Australia isn’t ruinous, but the service invoices do enjoy the finer things. Expect an A/Minor service at a dealer to land around $450–$800, and a B/Major service roughly $900–$1,600; AMGs and big SUVs can sprint higher. Good independents often trim that by $150–$400 without skimping on genuine or OEM parts. Pre-paid ServiceCare plans typically sit around $2,200–$3,800 for three services (model-dependent), and brake jobs can be $400–$900 for pads, $1,000+ with rotors. Transmission service? Budget $500–$950 on many 7/9-speed units, plus periodic coolant and brake fluid changes. Shop around, keep to 12-month/15,000 km intervals, and you’ll keep the star shining without pawning the espresso machine. All figures are approximate in AUD and vary by model and state.
