mg4 excite 51 review Page 2

The MG4 Excite 51 is a snappy little EV that aims to shake up the Aussie electric car scene without breaking the bank. It boasts a 51 kWh battery delivering a respectable around 350 km of real-world range, making it a practical city runabout. Power-wise, it packs around 150 kW, so it’s peppy enough to keep up with traffic without making your wallet weep. Inside, it’s a mixed bag: stylish dash, but the plastics sometimes feel a bit bargain basement. Pricing starts from roughly $45,000 AUD new, with used examples dancing around the mid-$30,000s at Tradingpost or CarShowroom. If you’re after a no-nonsense EV with decent range and a quirky attitude, this might just tick the boxes.
