mg4 vs tesla model 3 Page 10

MG4 vs Tesla Model 3: both battery-powered darlings, but one’s a value-packed hatch and the other’s a slick sedan with ideas above its station.

Here’s the cheat sheet so you can stop doomscrolling spec sheets:

• MG4 – Pros: Sharper drive-away pricing in Australia, playful RWD handling (the XPower goes properly quick), practical hatch boot, and a long 7-year warranty.
• MG4 – Cons: Shorter real-world range and efficiency than the Tesla, infotainment and driver-assist polish lag, and charging/navigation smarts are basic.

• Tesla Model 3 – Pros: Excellent efficiency and range, seamless access to the Supercharger network, top-notch software and safety tech, and composed dynamics.
• Tesla Model 3 – Cons: Higher purchase price, minimalist cabin isn’t everyone’s cup of Bushells, and the sedan boot opening is less versatile than a hatch.

Prices in Australia: MG4 roughly $40k–$60k new (used from mid-$30k); Model 3 roughly $62k–$75k+ new (used from low-$40k), depending on year and battery.

Different flavours of fast and frugal—choose based on budget, charging needs, and whether you want hatchback practicality or a tidy sedan silhouette.
