In Sydney, a new Mitsubishi Outlander petrol typically drives away from roughly $40,000 to $60,000 depending on spec, with the PHEV stretching about $60,000–$78,000.

Used petrol Outlanders from 2017–2020 hover around $15,000–$28,000, while 2021–2023 cars sit roughly $28,000–$45,000; used PHEVs range from about $22,000 to $50,000+.

Trim, kilometres, and service history move the needle more than a set of roof racks ever will.

On-road costs, dealer delivery, and Sydney’s supply quirks can sway the final figure—so sharpen the pencil before the salesperson does.
