mobile phone rules victoria Page 56

Ah, Victoria's mobile phone rules for drivers are about as clear as mud for many. Simply put, you cannot use a handheld mobile phone while driving—yes, that means no texting, calling, or even scrolling through your latest meme stash. The only exception is if you're using a commercially manufactured hands-free system or your phone is securely mounted and controlled by voice commands. Penalties? Expect fines north of $500 and demerit points that could make your insurance premiums weep.
