Chasing a “mobility sticker” in NSW? The modern term is a Mobility Parking Scheme (MPS) permit, issued via Service NSW—the hang‑tag, not the old sticky job. Eligibility hinges on a medical practitioner confirming a significant mobility disability, with permits issued either long‑term (up to 3 years) or temporary (up to 6 months). You apply online or at Service NSW with proof of identity and the medical form, then display the permit clearly when you park. It lets you use signed accessible bays and grants time concessions in many other spots—still obey the signs, you’re not getting a magic force field. Take the permit with you if you’re in another car; it’s for the person, not the number plate. For exact rules, concession details and any fees, read the official Service NSW guidance.
