The most expensive Hot Wheels car ever recorded is the 1969 Pink Rear-Loading Beach Bomb, which has been known to fetch prices north of US$150,000 at auction. This rare beauty sports a unique rear-loading design with surfboards and is a collector's dream. New Hot Wheels cars typically retail for just a few dollars, so this vintage gem is in a league of its own. If you're after such treasures, keep an eye on specialist auction houses or marketplaces like Tradingpost, though patience and deep pockets are essential.
