Target Design MV Agusta

In the 1980's Germany's leading bike magazine, Motottad Revue, invited Europe's top automotive design studios to design the world’s most avant-guard motorcycle. Porsche Design, Italdesign, and Target Design took up the challenge, and while all three concepts were well received, the Target entry resulted in international acclaim and remained the focus of attention for many years after the event.

Circa 2008 one of Germany's most respected classic bike dealers made a commitment to turn the now famous Target Design MV dream-machine into reality, and 23 October, 2014, the prototype was released to the public at the Padova Auto d'epoca, Italy’s premier exhibition for antique cars and motorcycles.

Built to Target’s original specification in collaboration with Mr. Hans-Georg Kasten, who, at the time of the original concept was senior modeller at Target, and is still to this day employed at Target Design. This is truly a unique motorcycle.
