The MSI GL63 is a gaming laptop that tries to balance performance and affordability, typically outfitted with Intel Core i5 or i7 processors and NVIDIA GTX 10-series GPUs. You can expect a 15.6-inch Full HD display, 8 to 16 GB of RAM, and storage options ranging from SSDs to traditional HDDs. New units usually hover around the $1,200 to $1,800 AUD mark, while used models are often found cheaper on sites like Tradingpost or CarShowroom.

Common issues to watch for include:

• Overheating due to heavy gaming loads
• Fan noise that can get quite loud
• Battery life that’s mediocre at best
