musso vs triton Page 19

Shopping ute bargains vs brand clout? That’s Musso vs Triton in a nutshell, and no, you can’t have both for the price of one sausage sizzle.

• Musso pros: Sharper pricing, generous features, comfy ride, and a long 7‑year warranty; the XLV variant’s long tub is a tradie’s Tetris dream.
• Musso cons: Smaller dealer network, resale not as bulletproof, and fewer accessories than the usual suspects.

• Triton pros: Big dealer reach, strong reliability record, plenty of accessories, and the latest model packs improved safety tech and cabin polish.
• Triton cons: Usually pricier like‑for‑like, rear seat and tray packaging can be tighter, and ride can feel ute‑ish when unladen.

Choose based on what you value more: upfront savings and tub space, or support network and easy resale—either way, your toolbox won’t care who built the tray.
