mux specifications Page 16

Ah, the elusive 'mux'—short for multiplexer, a device that channels multiple input signals into a single line. Specs vary wildly depending on whether you’re dealing with digital, analog, or automotive muxes, so let's be general.

• Channels: Anywhere from 2 to 64 or more inputs.
• Data Rate: Could be in the range of a few Mbps to several Gbps, depending on the application.
• Voltage Range: Typically 3.3V or 5V logic for digital muxes.
• Package Type: Usually small ICs, surface-mount or DIP.

For precise specs, consult the datasheet of the specific mux model—no one-size-fits-all here.
