mycoolman battery pack review Page 491

The myCOOLMAN battery pack is a clever magnetic add‑on that lets compatible myCOOLMAN fridges run cable‑free when you wander off from the ute. Build quality is solid, the magnets cling like a koala to a gum tree, and the status lights keep you honest. Expect several hours to roughly a day of runtime depending on fridge size, set temp and Aussie summer heat—physics still applies, sadly. Pros: tidy setup, easy portability, and no mucking about with extra wiring. Cons: capacity is modest versus a proper 12V lithium box, recharge isn’t lightning, and the dollars‑per‑watt‑hour can sting. Ideal for day trips, picnics and market runs; for multi‑day camping, pair it with a bigger battery or a power station.
